Art_in_wisconsin
July 27 - September 1, 2012 Reception Friday, July 27, 2012 5-9pm
Patrick Farrell illustrates a natural talent that has developed without formal art training of any kind. His exploration of the demanding style of "super-realism" has earned him a noteworthy place among leading painters. Throughout his career he has determinedly avoided the vogues and excesses of the art world mainstream and has won acclaim for his oil paintings.

Work in this show will focus on themes Patrick first explored decades ago such as the reflective quality of pewter, and intricacies of butterflies as well his beloved fruit still lifes.

Farrell has been exhibiting his work for over forty years and has been represented by leading galleries across the country His paintings have been displayed in over thirty-five solo exhibitions and have been included in numerous group exhibitions internationally. His works can be found in public and corporate collections throughout the United States and numerous private collections internationally.

Farrell is an Honorary Member of The Allied Artists of America, Inc., New York City . He is profiled in Who's Who in America , Who's Who in American Art and Famous Wisconsin Artists & Architects. The painter resides and maintains a studio in Milwaukee , Wisconsin .
