Nature is explored and restored by three painters in Nature Redux. The blissful landscapes of Beth Edwards are flawlessly painted and hyper realistic. Painted in confectioners colors they capture and idealize fleeting moments in time. Stephen Anderson defines his invented style as "Naive Classicism." Layering acrylic paint with Prismacolor, Anderson 's luminous anthropomorphic creatures reside in unlikely, compelling environments. Sofia Arnold paints with delicate brushstrokes, gentle airy washes, and gentle exclamations of color to reveal an intricate world in another time and place suggesting a dynamic system of rules for interaction. The different painting styles presented in Nature Redux are fresh and unique, and the artists explore the natural world and their place in it.
