Congratulations to WVA members and supporters. . .we reached our $50,000 endowment goal! This was accomplished thanks to a matching grant from the Robert Ragir Foundation. A huge thank you to Robert Ragir and to everyone who sent in their checks to support and grow the Wisconsin Visual Artists Endowment Fund. When the State board met late in 2011 they set a new endowment goal of $75,000 and once again the Meyer J. and Norma L. Ragir Foundation will give the WVA Endowment $12,500 if WVA can match his donation and raise $12,500. This money
The WVA Endowment Chair for the last three years, Barb Banerian, is stepping down and until a new WVA member steps up to fill this position please send WVA Endowment checks to David A Sear (searldr@yahoo.com), the WVA State treasurer. A huge WVA THANK YOU to Barb Banerian for the excellent job she did as the WVA Endowment Chair. In an all volunteer organization such as WVA, it is so important for members to take on leadership roles. If you are interested in being an officer within your chapter, please contact your chapter chair.
